How is qk different from Ada, Forethought, or Fin AI?+
Three things. qk sees your users' runtime state, not just docs. qk cites every answer to a source. qk is self-serve under $50/mo — no procurement cycle. They're enterprise CX deflection; we're support for teams that ship.
What's included in the Free tier?+
3,000 interactions per month, one knowledge source, web widget, cited answers, community support. No credit card. Free forever — not a trial. Upgrade only if you need more interactions or surfaces.
How fast can I actually go live?+
Under 10 minutes from signup. Paste a docs URL → qk indexes it → embed one <script> tag. No sales call, no implementation manager, no onboarding queue.
What data does qk read?+
Only what you give it. Knowledge sources you connect (docs URL, FAQ, API spec). User context you pass at runtime (plan, page, last action). qk never trains on your data and never shares it cross-tenant.
Do you support SOC 2 and GDPR?+
GDPR — yes, day one. SOC 2 Type II — in progress, audited by Q3 2026, available on Scale tier. EU data residency on request. Full security overview at security.qk.com.
What languages does qk speak?+
English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese — out of the box. Add any language by providing examples in your knowledge base. Detection is automatic per conversation.
Can I self-host qk?+
Not yet. We considered OSS at launch and chose hosted-first for ship speed. Self-hosted is on the 2027 roadmap if customer demand is real. Reach out if it's a blocker for you.
What happens when qk doesn't know the answer?+
qk says so — and escalates the way you configure. Route to a human, open a Linear issue, post to a Slack channel, or surface a “request a human” CTA in the widget. Better silence than a hallucination.
